Raja Dinkar Kelkar Museum: The museum is built in the Rajasthani style of architecture. This has earlier served as the house of Raja Dinkar Kelkar. The museum is situated on the busy Bajirao Road. It has some of the finest examples of the Indian art and crafts that you have ever witnessed.
Mahatma Phule Museum: This museum was established in 1890 during the time of British Raj. You will see a number of industrial as well agricultural products and articles that belonged to that time.
National War Museum: This war memorial was stated under the sponsorship and support of Express Citizen's Forum in 1996. From ordinary citizens to big corporates, everyone has decided to contribute towards this memorial. The memorial is a 25 feet stone pillar and is dedicated to the soldiers and other brave men who have sacrificed their lives for the country.
Aga Khan Palace: This is a beautiful building that is made in the Italian as well as Indian style of architecture. The building has a number of lawns, arches, salons and spacious lawns. This place served as the centre for the Quit India Movement under the leadership of Mahatma Gandhi in 1942. You can see rare black and white photographs of Gandhiji and his other associates. This place is full of peace and solace. A visit to the Samadhi of Kasturba Gandhi is a must.
Parvati Hill Temples: This temple is known for the 108 narrow steps that lead to the hill top temple. This temple was built by Peshwa Balaji Baji Rao. The temple has a number of private shrine rooms of Peshwas. The Parvati Museum has a number of portraits, manuscripts and coins that belonged to the Maratha Empire.
Pataleshwar Caves: These caves were built during the 8th century. These temple caves were carved out of a single piece of rock. There are a number of massive pillars, shrine of many Hindu deities and a sculpture of Nandi bull. This temple is visited by worshipers even today.
Bund Garden: This garden was commissioned by Sir Jamshedji Jeejeebhoy. This garden is also known as Mahatma Gandhi Udyan. The garden is famous for its Bhelpuri and Pani Puri which is sold by local vendors.
